The Royal Society of Canada’s panel on the status and future of Canada’s libraries and archives is holding a consultation at the University of Toronto on the afternoon of January 16 from 1:30 to 4:30 in Room 4422 at OISE, 252 Bloor Street West. See attached poster, announcement and questions for the community. letter to library and archive communities LA_Notice and Framing Qs_EN Toronto Poster
As the attached letter indicates the reports of the consultations held to date are available here: http://librariesarchivescanada.wordpress.com/

When will the report be available?
The last consultation listed in the panel’s itinerary is at Toronto, in conjunction with The Ontario Library Association SuperConference (January 29-31, 2014), so our guess is late this winter or early spring of 2015.
I have been told by a committee member that the report will be released November 13th.
Thanks very much for the update!
