The lasting impact of her contributions is evidenced by the success and growth of CJAL. This impact extends beyond the association with CJAL’s international authorship and indexing. Her work building and supporting the journal’s infrastructure and your leadership in CJAL’s successful application to join Coalition Publica highlight the strength and depth of her contributions.

Bio: Kristin Hoffmann is a Research and Scholarly Communication Librarian at the University of Western Ontario. She has worked at Western Libraries since 2006 and has also held roles as a science librarian and Head of Research and Instructional Services (Weldon Library). Kristin was the first librarian at Western to serve as president of the University of Western Ontario Faculty Association (UWOFA) and she has also served on several UWOFA negotiating committees. She was one of the founding co-editors of the Canadian Journal of Academic Librarianship and served as an editor from 2014-2021. She also served four times as a peer mentor for the Librarians’ Research Institute. Kristin is an active researcher, focusing on research about librarians as practitioner-researchers.
