The Research and Writing COP (RaWCOP) is a peer writing group that enables interested CAPAL members to:
- Share draft papers/chapters for members’ comments;
- Workshop ideas/test methodologies
- Dress rehearse conference presentations
- Share calls for papers
- Collaborate
- Suggest relevant literature
- Refer to other colleagues
- Discuss current/emerging scholarship
- Propose conference sessions/panels
- Contribute content to CJAL or other journals

Monthly/bimonthly meetings are held on Zoom.
The Facilitators produce an annual report for the Education and Professional Development Committee.
