CAPAL Urges Minister Joly to Restore LAC Funding

The Board of CAPAL has written to our new Heritage Minister, Mélanie Joly, expressing our concern that no mention of restoration of funding to Library and Archives Canada was made in the Minister of Canadian Heritage Mandate Letter. We expressed our interest in meeting with the Minister to discuss the impact of the cuts to LAC’s budget in recent years, and the importance of restoring this funding.
