The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) CoP provides a supportive space for interested members to explore how SoTL intersects with librarianship. Participants will connect with colleagues, reflect on instructional practice, and contribute to the growing conversation about teaching and learning in academic libraries. Librarians at any stage of their SoTL journey—from curious beginners to experienced researchers—are welcome to join.
Objectives
- Engage in discussions about SoTL and its intersection with academic librarianship.
Membership and Structure
- The community of practice is open to all CAPAL members interested in learning more about SoTL.
- The format is a journal club. Facilitators strive to provide the next reading two weeks (or more) in advance.
- Meetings are held every five weeks via Zoom.
